CueForAll + CueRemote

Your audio stays
on your network.

This policy explains information processing in CueForAll for Mac, CueRemote for iPhone and iPad, and related support.

1. Controller

Juan José Palacios, operating as +3dB, controls information processed directly for CueForAll support. Contact: jj.sonido@3db.uy, Montevideo, Uruguay.

Apple separately processes information required for the App Store, StoreKit, purchases, and restorations under its own policies and terms.

2. Information processed by the app

  • Documents and settings: cue names, frequencies, source types, profiles, gain, listening mode, volume, and preferences you configure.
  • Audio: the signal received from a compatible RTL-SDR or a Mac audio input, and audio you choose to send to CueRemote.
  • Local technical data: nearby device name, connection state, local address and port when network transport is used, latency, buffer, packet, and round-trip measurements.
  • Access state: whether CueForAll Full is enabled, so connected devices apply consistent limits.

Documents and preferences are stored locally on your devices or wherever you choose to save a document. +3dB does not receive a copy of your cues or their audio.

3. Local network and permissions

CueForAll and CueRemote use Multipeer Connectivity, Bonjour, and local connections to discover each other, synchronize cues, send controls, and stream audio. Communication occurs between your devices on the local network and is not routed through +3dB servers.

macOS may request microphone permission to capture an audio input or interface. macOS, iOS, and iPadOS may request Local Network access to connect CueForAll and CueRemote. You can revoke permissions in system settings, but related features will stop working.

No tracking: CueForAll contains no advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app or cross-site tracking technology. We do not sell personal data.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

CueForAll Full purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. The app checks signed transaction history to determine access, but +3dB does not receive your card number or Apple Account credentials. Apple may process purchase history, identifiers, and billing data under its own policy.

5. Website and support

If you contact support, we process your email address and the information you include to answer and resolve the case. Do not send show documents, recordings, or confidential information unless it is essential and you have agreed this with support first.

3db.uy is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, which may process standard technical logs for site delivery and security. We do not use those logs for advertising or profiling.

6. Retention

  • App data: remains in your devices or documents until you delete it.
  • Audio and local telemetry: is processed during the session and is not stored on +3dB servers.
  • Support: up to 24 months after the request is closed, unless longer retention is required for a legal obligation or dispute.
  • Purchases: Apple retains transaction information under its own policies.

7. Security and children

Communication is limited to devices on the local network that take part in pairing. Use a trusted network, keep systems updated, and avoid open networks during a session. No system can guarantee absolute security. CueForAll is not specifically directed to children under 13 and has no social or account-creation features.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent to support, subject to applicable law. Email jj.sonido@3db.uy. Local documents and preferences can be removed directly from the app, Finder, or device settings.

In Uruguay, you may also contact the Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit. If you live elsewhere, you may contact the applicable data-protection authority.

9. Changes

We will update the effective date when this policy changes. If a change is material, we will try to announce it on the website or in CueForAll before it takes effect.
